Q bit torrent froze on metadat download

Have had no issues torrenting for years but as of a couple of days ago I discovered I can't torrent anymore. I use qBittorrent v3.3.4 and the I see this warning on all downloads initiated by sonarr. The torrents then stay stuck at 0% downloading metadata. Do I have something misconfigured? I
